Well, this falls under the "not exactly shocking" category.

According to the MIFilmtourage blog, the Rob Schneider movie "American Virgin," partly shot in Ann Arbor and Detroit's Greektown last year, will be going straight to DVD.

The film — which had the working title "The Virgin on Bourbon Street" while shooting on U-M's campus last November — tells the story of a good-girl student, Priscilla (Jenna Dewan from "Step Up"), who has earned a college scholarship from an abstinence group called Can't Hurry Love. When her wild-girl roommate Naz (Brianne Davis of "Prom Night") leads her into a night of debauchery, which includes an appearance in a "Girls Gone Wild"-like video, Priscilla must track down the man behind the tawdry series (Schneider).

MIFilmTourage notes that the DVD will be available in the UK next week, but no word yet on the American release date. Check out the less-than-inspiring, offensive-on-several-levels trailer below. Campus shots appear early on, and a clear shot of Rackham happens near the end — if you make it that far. (Warning: not for the kids.)
