Saline's Family Theater Project presents "A Christmas Carol"

Yes, it's already the season for countless renditions of "A Christmas Carol," but a production happening in Saline is truly a family affair.

Saline Community Education's Family Theater Project — funded by a grant from the Saline C.A.R.E.S. Advisory Council, and founded and directed by Rebecca Groeb-Driskill — has paired together young people and their parents in a production of "Carol" that will be staged at the Liberty School Auditorium, 7265 Saline-Ann Arbor Road in Saline.

Showtimes are 3 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, and 3 p.m. Sunday, December 6. Tickets are $5, and all proceeds will benefit performing arts students' camp and college scholarship funds.

It is children’s literature that often becomes our first foray into suspended belief and imagined landscapes. It is when we first question what it means to see the world and see how life can change suddenly at night. read more
