It sure would be nice if people had brought their manners to this event. I was second in line to purchase tickets from a woman selling them on the street and at least 3 people cut in front of me, including a guy who nearly stepped on my feet. While walking down Main St., I was shoved which caused me to bump into another person who gave me the stink eye like I insulted his mother or something. I was also cut in front of several times while in line at food stations. There was no traffic organization and many of the restaurants ran out of food by 3:00. Even the A2 Art Fairs (which is 3 times the size of this sorry event) are better organized. The only thing I gained from the Taste was a fair amount of food for $20. This was the first and LAST time I will attend the Taste of Ann Arbor.

Great live music, too. Impressive lineup! Between the main stage and the ABC beer tent's band (something wagon?) I almost forgot about the food.

Everything I tried there was amazing. Great job to all the restaurants that participated this year. In years past, some vendors ran out of food early, but this year the only one that I saw with this problem was Blue Tractor. They were out of everything and had their tent shutdown by 2:30. My only suggestion for next year would be to up the price of tickets to $1 each instead of $.50. It would be easier to hand a booth 2, 3 or 4 tickets for something instead of 4, 6 or 8.

I went with my family and had a lot of fun and the food was good to. The only problem is you can't sell your unused tickets back when ur done, you have to sell them to another goer.

This was the coolest event in Ann Arbor I've been to in years! SO much fun! My family and I had so much fun. The food was excellent. And, it was awesome to see the crowd---it was PACKED! I'm glad so many people turned out. My favorite dish of all were the Duck Nachos from Melange. It was like a bite from heaven! I was chatting with the manager and she told me that Mon-Fri from 4-6 is happy hour and the appetizers (Including the amazing duck nachos) are half priced........she's found a new groupie, let me tell you!
