"Scream 4" shooting in Dearborn, Livonia and Northville; stars Tweet photos; and locals post video and photos

By Jenn McKee

Though "Scream 4"'s production office and a base camp (in the Burns Park area) reside in Ann Arbor, most recently, Dearborn's Woodworth Middle School has been temporarily transformed into Woodsboro High School for the film; and location photos submitted to Scream-Trilogy.net, in addition to the site's photos of a few of the film's young stars working with Wes Craven, have Ghostface fans speculating about the much-anticipated sequel's secret storyline.

According to the Scream Franchise Examiner,"Scream 4" is shooting in a Livonia police station on Wednesday, June 30, and Northville on Friday, July 2. (BeforeTheTrailer.com, however, claims that "Scream 4" shooting in Livonia is scheduled for Thursday, July 1.)

Meanwhile, both Nancy Odell, who will make a cameo in the movie, and David Arquette, who returns as lovable cop Dewey, have posted "Scream 4"-related photos via Twitter. (Arquette even has one taken in Zingerman's, posted on Tuesday, June 29, sporting his "Dewey mustache.")

Finally, brief, locally-shot videos have surfaced on YouTube.

This video features a large, outdoor green screen.

The stars of the movie include Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette from the first three "Scream" movies. According to the Internet Movie Data Base, the cast also includes Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Lauren Graham and Rory Culkin.
