See Paul McCartney and Wings on the big screen

By Ann Dwyer

See a post-Beatles era Paul McCartney at Rave Cinema's special airing of his ROCKSHOW, the concert film featuring McCartney and Wings taken from the 1975-1976 tour “Wings Over America.”

It was a high point for McCartney and Wings, they had just released four consecutive chart busting albums including "Red Rose Speedway," "Band on the Run," "Venus and Mars" and "Wings at the Speed of Sound," along with the Academy Award-winning James Bond theme song, “Live and Let Die.” On top of that, McCartney hadn't toured in the U.S. in 10 years.

Let's all try to remember when Paul had a lovely marriage and not the one after.

Thursday, May 16, 2013. Go to http://ravemotionpictures.com/ for show time and admission cost. Rave is at 4100 Carpenter Road, Ypsilanti. 734-973-4823.

Reminds me of an old joke: Q. What do you call a dog with wings? A. Paul calls her Linda.

"Let's all try to remember when Paul had a lovely marriage and not the one after." <--- love this. Happy that Paul once again seems to be in a lovely marriage. That Heather Mills woman is/was something else.
