Jason Segel, Judd Apatow of 'Five Year Engagement' spotted at Zingerman's Deli

By Jenn McKee

As "Five Year Engagement" — the Jason Segel/Emily Blunt romantic comedy — continues filming in the Ann Arbor area, the Detroit Free Press notes that Segel and "Engagement" producer Judd Apatow showed up for breakfast at Zingerman's Deli on Friday at around 10:30 a.m. This was the first reported local spotting of Apatow, who's most recently been gearing up for and promoting his soon-to-be-released project, "Bridesmaids."

Apatow wrote on Twitter of Zingerman's, "Was great. We are also shooting There soon. Great town." And he tweeted this photo of the two of them at Zingerman's Next Door:

Meanwhile, according to a post on the site BeforeTheTrailer.com, the movie is scheduled to shoot at Zingerman's Bakehouse, at 3711 Plaza Dr., on Wednesday, May 11, with a workday that's expected to span from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

I know the last time I took my family to Zingerman's, I had to take out a second mortgage and promise Ari and Paul my first fourth born. Geez.

wish I was in the movie industry so I could afford a whole sandwich too! Last time we ordered take-out for our office [5 of us] it was $90...never again!

I've been informed by a normally reliable source that most actors, even famous ones, are actually human. Just like you and me.

I have no idea who these "actors" are? Do they work at the bakehouse?

Well, out work actors are like a dime for a dozen... so they need to supplement their income, right?

. . . and if they bought something and handed the receipt to the accounting department, YOU (the taxpayer) paid for about 43% of it. I worked in Michigan production for about a year and a half . . .
