Share your Art Fairs experience: How to interact with AnnArbor.com

By Stefanie Murray

We'll have staff and freelance journalists out covering every inch of the Ann Arbor Art Fairs this week — liveblogging, photo galleries, stories, videos, the works.

In addition to all of that, we want to hear from YOU.

We have several easy ways for you to interact with AnnArbor.com during the Art Fairs and share your observations, recommendations, opinions, insights, tips, photos and videos with us and our tens of thousands of readers.

Pick your pleasure(s) from the list below. Each day, we'll pull together the best of reader-submitted content from the Art Fairs and showcase it in a post on our homepage.

  • Comment: Log-in to AnnArbor.com anytime this week and comment on our Art Fairs coverage. You have to either have an account on the site or sign in from Facebook.
  • Community Wall: Write up your observations or anecdotes and post them directly to AnnArbor.com using the Got News? Tell Us function on our Community Wall. Share an interesting conversation you had with an artisan, your thoughts on the new trolleys, tips you might have for folks who haven't visited yet, etc.
  • E-mail: If it's easier for you, email us what you think - send anecdotes, commentary, tips, ideas or photos to community@annarbor.com. Include your name, age and hometown. Make sure photos have some caption info with them. Shots taken with a smartphone like an iPhone or BlackBerry work great.
  • Text: Got something short and sweet to say? Text it to 734-719-1050. Be sure to include your name.
  • Facebook: We'll be posting our Art Fairs stories on the Downtown Ann Arbor Facebook page, Facebook.com/DowntownAnnArbor, during the week. "Like" the page to follow our coverage, and you can go there and post your thoughts and photos, too.
  • Twitter and TwitPic: No doubt Twitter will be abuzz during the week with chatter about the Art Fairs. Use the hashtag #a2artfairs when you Tweet or send a TwitPic so we can easily find it. You can also check out our Twitter widget throughout the week to see the latest of all things art fair.
  • YouTube: We'll be posting all of our videos this week with the tag a2artfairs — use the same tag to link your art fair videos with ours.
  • Flickr: We've created a group for Ann Arbor Art Fairs photos. Join our group, add your photos and we'll try to share the pictures with our readers.
  • Google Maps: We've created a couple Google Maps specifically tailored to the Art Fairs that are open for collaboration. Click on our general Art Fairs map or our Art Fairs entertainment map and add your own tips and observations.
