“We’re excited to be adding more available spots this year,” Craig Common, event co-organizer and owner of The Common Grill, said in a press release. “It has become more difficult each year to select talent because the level of ability we see is just unbelievable. This event has become the benchmark around Michigan for other communities looking to the something very similar.”

There are over 100 paying spots available on the schedule. Auditions are open to musicians, singer-songwriters, jugglers, magicians, performers, dance troupes, artists and other street arts performers. Those auditioning will have 3-5 minutes to perform before a panel of judges. Performers should bring any necessary equipment (including amplifiers). There is no charge to audition.
