Street Art Fair names award winners

The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair—the original of the four fairs that together make up the Ann Arbor Art Fair—has presented its annual awards of excellence and originality to 10 artists, and announced its featured artist for next year.

Painter Julie Beyer was named the 2012 Featured Artist. Her original artwork will be featured on the Street Art Fair merchandise next year.

The other honorees:

This year's jurors were Amanda Krugliak, an artist and the arts curator for the University of Michigan Institute for the Humanities; and Chris McCauley, a portrait and landscape painter.
