There will be a "Cheers for Children Tailgate Party: A Beer & Wine Tasting Event" at the Lake Forest Golf Club on Friday. 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. Tailgate and help keep children safe in our community. Enjoy an evening of the spirited U-M/MSU rivalry. Enjoy a locally-brewed beer tasting and fantastic tailgate-style food, including a mashed potato bar, plus a wine tasting with hors d’oeuvres. $50 at the door. "Evil Dead: The Musical"

Deadites return to Dexter in "Evil Dead: The Musical." Oct. 19-21 and Oct. 26-28. Fridays and Saturdays, 8 p.m. Sundays, 7 p.m. This hilarious live stage show takes all the elements of the cult classic horror films "Evil Dead" and "Evil Dead 2" and combines them to make one of the craziest theatrical experiences of all time. Come one, come all to the "Amazing FLYing Circus!" at the Corner Brewery on Saturday. 7 p.m.-Midnight. Enjoy aerial yoga, fortune tellers, acrobats and sketch artists. All of your favorite sideshow characters will be there. There will also be food, live music and other entertainment. Costumes are encouraged. Comedian Nikki Glaser will perfprm at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. A frequent guest on "The Bob and Tom Radio Show," a semi-finalist on "Last Comic Standing," named one of the "Top 10 Emerging Comics" by Askmen.com, Nikki has also been a guest on Leno. $13 in advance; $15at at the door. HALLOWEEN

Be sure to get in on some "Halloween Fun" at Hudson Mills Metropark on Sunday. 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Join an interpreter to make cider, decorate doughnuts and create “spooky” crafts. Also, meet animals from the Great Lakes Zoological Society. Admission is by advance ticket purchase only.
