Taste some great local flavors or take in a Penny Stamps lecture today

The Penny Stamps Lecture Series brings interesting and intelligent people to the Michigan Theater. 5:10 p.m. Today, there will be a talk by Sally Mann. Mann is one of America’s most influential photographers, perhaps best known for her intimate, sometimes controversial, portraits of her family, and her evocative landscapes, still lifes and architectural photographs of the American South. Paesano’s Restaurant will hold a "Farm-To-Table Dinner" for the New Washtenaw Food Hub 6:30 p.m. Since becoming executive chef almost two years ago, David Whitney of Paesano Restaurant has been adding more and more local ingredients to the Italian season menu. Lori McKenna and special guest Mark Erelli will perform at The Ark. 8 p.m. McKenna is a master at chronicling the small, difficult moments between romantic partners as they navigate their relationships.
