What better way to start a Saturday night than by listening to talented writers read their work, am I right?

826michigan, in conjunction with writer Elizabeth Ellen, is proud to present: The Great Lakes, Great Times Reading Series. This monthly series, which is scheduled through May with some of the biggest and brightest known and emerging talent around (Deb Olin Unferth and Dan Chaon, anyone?), takes place just behind the red velvet curtain of the Liberty Street Robot Supply & Repair (also known as the 826michigan lab) at 115 East Liberty in downtown Ann Arbor. Even better, it's FREE!

Read about who's coming this month!

We kick everything off tomorrow night at 7pm. Host Matt Bell will welcome the amazing Brian Evenson (hopefully you're thinking what we thought: WOW), Brown visiting lecturer and short story writer Joanna Howard, and Atlanta, GA's Blake Butler.

Did I mention it's free, and a great way to kick off your Saturday night? I did? Well, it's worth repeating. We're thrilled about this new reading series. I'm sure many of us are still feeling the loss of Shaman Drum (sob), and it is our hope to continue their tradition of bringing in incredible writers for free events.

So please join us! Tomorrow night, 115 East Liberty, 7pm. Hope to see you there!
