Hello! I will be writing about topics related to fashion and style. I spent the past two years in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology and received my associate degree in fashion design this May. I also have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Oakland University. I have been blogging since the days of the dial-up and AOL accounts and screaming at my mom as she picked up the land line and I lost all my words (!!!).

I love to write and I love to make clothes, which is why I'm thrilled to finally have an outlet to combine my passions. I have big plans for my role as a contributor here, and there are so many things I plan to bring to the table. When I'm not writing or designing, I also work as the seamstress/costume designer for Fantasy Attic Costumes in Ypsilanti. (If you haven't yet, please come check out the new Depot Town location... it's fantastic.) Other things I enjoy are planning my wedding (October 2010), reading, running, painting and daydreaming about pug puppies.
