The Easter Bunny has hopped over to Briarwood Mall

By Ann Dwyer

If you're looking for a place to reliably find the Easter Bunny, then Briarwood Mall is your place. Just don't bother him on his carrot break.

He has already arrived, and he's waiting for to hear all your kids' Easter wishes (that's how that works, right?). He's located in the Sears court area.

A Caring Bunny for special-needs children will be available on March 24 from 9-11 a.m. Please reserve your space through

Children and families can visit and take photos with the Easter Bunny Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. (a carrot break will be from 1-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-5:15 p.m.), and Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (carrot break from 2-3 p.m.). He'll be on hand through March 30.

The mall is located at 100 Briarwood Circle (off State Street and Eisenhower Parkway), Ann Arbor. 734-994-5315.

If your child says she will drop you like a hot potato if you make her sit on the bunnies lap, then Pioneer High has a charity function for an Easter egg hunt. I just forgot the date. But it looks like fun.

OK. You all win. I'll go find myself a newspaper. Happy Easter.

FYI, I strongly suspect that this is one of the Easter Bunny's helpers, and not EB him/herself. He/she is busy dying eggs and wrapping Peeps in an undisclosed location in eastern France.

This hard news is killing me. Multiple thanks for your investigative reporting. Let stories like this serve as a warning to other cities. Save your Newspapers and your communities from this fate.

Not all news is hard news. Part of the job of a community "paper" is to get out information. I don't have kids, but found it interesting in any case. It provides a useful service. If you only want hard news maybe you shouldn't be clicking on the entertainment links of the site and stick to the news. So who is really to blame? (Another tip...if you don't like sports, don't click on the sports won't like what you find there).

Hi, Bob. I work in entertainment. But this could be news for parents. Especially since there is a "Caring Bunny" for kids with special needs.

It's an entertainment story, not news.
