The Killers have a substantial, dedicated fan base and have won critical acclaim for their smart yet accessible indie rock. Rolling Stone readers voted the band's 2008 release, "Day & Age," the Album of the Year.
Formed in 2001, the band has released three studio albums. Its fourth, "Battle Born," featuring the single "Runaways," is scheduled for U.S. release on Tuesday.
