Local folk-rock-world band The Ragbirds on Thursday released a new concert album, recorded at shows at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor and the Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids.

Titled "We Belong to the Love," the 12-song album combines past favorites with two new songs, "Lucky Rhythm" and the title track.

In a post on the band's website, leader Erin Zindle wrote, “In all of our studio recordings we have been trying to capture our live sound because it’s in the electric joyful exchange between the stage and the audience that the real magic happens. I’m so excited to be able to release a record that truly represents that live musical experience.”

The album nicely captures the band's collaborative aesthetic and eclectic, rootsy sound. It's available on the band's website in both CD and digital formats.

The Ragbirds will tour in support of the new album, starting Friday at the Magic Bag in Ferndale.
