Tickets going fast for Jeff Daniels' "Onstage and Unplugged"
The intimate, mostly lighthearted shows offer a close-up view of Daniels —Chelsea’s homegrown star of stage and screen — as a songwriter, musician and storyteller. Performing alone, mostly on an acoustic guitar, Daniels intersperses personal anecdotes between his original folk/blues songs, and each year brings new material.
Of course, some Daniels’ favorites, like “If William Shatner Can, I Can Too,” have become “Unplugged” staples. But no matter what’s on the set list, the main attraction is Daniels himself, whose warmth and dry wit make him an irresistibly charming performer.
