Preservation Clinic to help you save your precious mementos and important items

By Ann Dwyer

Time can fade our looks and make us less spry, but don't let it take your memories. The physical ones, that is. Get advice on saving your important documents, photographs and other valuable items at the Preservation Clinic at the University of Michigan's Hatcher Graduate Library.

This is a unique opportunity to have a one-on-one consultation with University of Michigan Library preservation experts. They'll have advice on preserving books, papers, maps, photographs, LPs, tapes—even digital files and photographs. They can help you determine how to repair, copy, store, display and care for those items you treasure.

The clinic is open to the public. The staff encourages bringing their items and any questions they may have.
