George Bedard & the Kingpins - 8 p.m.
In what has become an annual tradition, George Bedard & the Kingpins will close Top of the Park and the Ann Arbor Summer Festival season with their swinging and crowd pleasing music. Baby has grown up in privileged surroundings and all expect her to go on to college and save the world before marrying a doctor, just like her father. One evening, she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music and meets Johnny (Patrick Swayze), the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. Baby finds herself challenging her family's values and becoming Johnny's student in dance and love.
