Movie: "Forrest Gump" - 10 p.m.
Running time: 142 minutes. Rating: PG-13. (1994).
Tom Hanks is Forrest Gump, a man who, despite his lack of intelligence, has a knack for influencing popular culture and experiencing first-hand historic events of the 20th century. Forrest joins the army in Vietnam, finds new friends called Dan and Bubba, wins medals, creates a famous shrimp fishing fleet, inspires people to jog, starts a ping-pong craze, and meets the president several times. All of this irrelevant to Forrest, though, who can only think of his childhood sweetheart, the troubled but loveable Jenny.
