Tony Award winning playwright David Henry Hwang to speak at U-M

Playwright David Henry Hwang will speak at U-M.
David Henry Hwang is scheduled to discuss his new Broadway hit, "Chinglish," at 4-5:30 p.m. at the Michigan League. Hwang won his Tony Award in 1988, and his current show is a comedy about a U.S. businessman trying to secure a lucrative deal in China. Hwang's talk is free and open to the public. There's also a reception afterward. The Confucius Institute and the Department of Comparative Literature are sponsors of the event.
