The Common Grill will host a "Spring Wine Show" to raise funds for the Sights and Sounds Festival on Monday. 6-9 p.m. Guests will be treated to wide selection of Chef Craig Common’s appetizers and desserts as they sample over 70 wines from various wine vendors. "Martin Bandyke's Moving Pictures" series continues at the Michigan Theater on Monday. 7 p.m. This week, see "Blank City." This documentary weaves together an oral history of the “No Wave Cinema” and “Cinema of Transgression” movements through compelling interviews with the luminaries who began it all. Featured players include Jim Jarmusch, John Waters, Steve Buscemi, Debbie Harry and more. "The Moth: Live Storytelling" continues at Circus Bar & Billiards on Tuesday. Doors open at 6 p.m., stories begin at 7:30 p.m. Moth shows are renowned for the great range of human experience they showcase. Audiences will experience the concert in its entirety. Before the concert, see a slideshow of rare and never-before-seen photos of the band, accompanied by a previously unreleased live track recorded in 1990. $11.50. The two "Dead" shows at Crisler arena in 1989, which is the same tour as this Alpine Valley show, had ticket prices well above $11.50. I saw both shows and they were well worth the money spent. I also lucked out and had a seat next to "Quin" and I am so glad he had some to share.

Who is trying to cash in on this? I think I paid less than that to see the concert live.
