Therapeutic Riding Inc. on Thursday hosted a special Halloween event.

The nonprofit organization uses horseback riding to aid personal growth for children and adults with disabilities and diverse needs. On Thursday, TRI—on Morgan Road outside Ann Arbor—hosted a trick-or-treat on horseback—with the horses in costume as well.

There were several different rides. Freelance photographer Tanya Moutzalias captured these images from the elementary-school-age group.
