U-M alumni band plans concert Sunday

The University of Michigan Band Alumni Association Concert Band will perform a free concert on Sunday March 13, 1 p.m. at Ann Arbor Huron High School. The band is conducted by Patricia Cornett with guest conductor, U-M alum John Endahl.

The concert program consists of Rizzendo - Travis Cross; Shenandoah - Frank Ticheli; Second Suite in F - Gustav Holst; Mock Morris ‐ Percy Grainger; Clarinet Choir, Americans We ‐ Henry Fillmore; Hold This Boy And Listen ‐ Carter Pann; The Hounds of Spring ‐ Alfred Reed; Don Ricardo ‐ Gabriel Musella; The Victors - L. Elbel.

Huron High School is at 2727 Fuller Road.

The UMBAA Concert Band is a volunteer organization committed to providing a place for alumni of all ages and abilities to gather to make music and socialize. Formed in April 2009, the band has presented four well-received concerts and looks forward to growing its membership and role in the community.
