The University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance recently kicked off ticket sales for individual performances of the upcoming 2010-2011 season, and just added to the season is "Gibson Fleck," a new original musical created by a trio of current U-M students.

A work-in-progress, "Gibson Fleck" features a book by Ali Gordon with music and lyrics by A.J. Holmes and Carlos Valdes. "Gibson Fleck" plays for five performances, November 18-21, at the Arthur Miller Theatre in the Walgreen Drama Center, 1226 Murfin. Associate Professor Linda Goodrich, whose recent U-M work includes "Evita," directs this production with musical direction by assistant professor Catherine Walker Adams. Tickets are also on sale now for the 2010-2011 Power Series, a subscription package for all shows presented in the Power Center: "The Elixir of Love," "Much Ado About Nothing," "Dancing Americas" and "Brigadoon."
