U-M students create and star in offbeat, fun 'The Michigan Transportation Musical'
Who knew that a 12-minute video about transportation options for University of Michigan students could be so fun, witty and eminently watchable?
"The Michigan Transportation Musical," which was shot on U-M's campus during three days in May of this year, stars and was produced by U-M students. It features musical numbers inspired by "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "YMCA," as well as outtakes.
The video tells the offbeat story of a young man arriving at U-M without a car. The enigmatic Billy Magic takes him under his wing and shows him what systems "the Kid" can take advantage of while on campus.
