University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance releases schedule for 2009-10 season
The University of Michigan just released its official schedule of plays, musicals, operas, and dance performances for the 2009-10 season produced by the U-M's School of Music, Theatre and Dance.
This year's lineup includes: Moliere's "Tartuffe," October 8-18 at the Arthur Miller Theatre; Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's "Evita," October 15-18 at the Mendelssohn Theatre; Mozart and Ponte's "The Marriage of Figaro," November 12-15 at the Power Center; Wendy Wasserstein's "Uncommon Women and Others," November 19-22 at the Arthur Miller Theatre; Shakespeare's "Macbeth," December 10-13 at the Power Center; "(Re)Visionary Dances," February 4-7 at the Power Center; Thornton Wilder's "Our Town," February 18-21 at the Mendelssohn Theatre; a to-be-announced winter opera, March 25-28 at the Mendelssohn Theatre; Claire Luckham's "Trafford Tanzi," April 1-11 at the Arthur Miller Theatre; and "Ragtime," April 15-18 at the Power Center.
Ticket prices for all shows are $18 and $24 ($9 for students), and single tickets for all performances will be available at the School of Music, Theatre and Dance web site starting August 28, as well as by phone (734-764-2538) and in person at the League Ticket Office beginning September 8. The Power Series, a subscription package for all shows presented at the Power Center, is available now for $60 and $80 by calling 734-764-2538.
