WCBN show 'Crush Collision' marking 25 years with special night at Necto

Jeffrey Hayner—event organizer and "Crush Collision" alum under the name Jeffrey Nothing—wrote in an email, "Can you believe it? 'Crush Collision' has been on the air for 25 years, since 1987. Crush Collision is one of the longest-running electronic music radio shows in the world, and the longest-running one featuring dance music ... In that time it has featured and influenced some of electronic music's greats."
The event will feature a reunion of CC alumni and current hosts doing DJ duty, including BMG, Jeffrey Nothing, Tyler Carr, and Zac Nichol; and live video mixing from Fleshy Timeclock (CC alum Jim Pyke, a.k.a. DJ Kalki). The show airs 10 p.m.-midnight Thursdays on WCBN.
The celebration takes place in the Red Room at Necto, 516 E. Liberty St., which has a separate entrance from the main club; just let the door person you are there for WCBN. A $5 cover will be donated to the station. For more information, see the website.

Thanks to the WCBN gang for putting this show on it was great, the music was the best I have heard in a long time, the visuals were awesome, and the cake was tasty! Music like that deserves a wider audience.

I think that the cover situation should read "$5 cover will be donated to WCBN", but the RED ROOM is the same line as Necto. Just tell them at the door if you are there for the WCBN party so they can sort it out.
