By Ann Dwyer

Power-pop groups We the Kings and HelloGoodbye will be coming to the Michigan Theater on Friday to help raise funds for the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation.

We the Kings' second album, "Smile Kid," included Top 40 singles "We'll Be A Dream" (featuring Demi Lovato) and "Heaven Can Wait." Hellogoodbye was signed to Drive-Thru Records and released their first full-length album "Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!" in addition to their previously released EPs "Hellogoodbye" and "DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL." In 2010, the band released "Would It Kill You?" on their label Wasted Summer Records.

"The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation supports pediatric research, education, community benefit programs, and other initiatives that improve the health of children in Michigan," according to their website.
