Power-pop groups We the Kings and HelloGoodbye will be coming to the Michigan Theater on Friday to help raise funds for the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation.

We the Kings' second album, "Smile Kid," included Top 40 singles "We'll Be A Dream" (featuring Demi Lovato) and "Heaven Can Wait." Their last release in 2011, "Sunshine State of Mind," features the MTV Music Award winner for Most Innovative Music Video of the Year for their interactive music video and song Say You Like Me. They have performed as a main-stage headliner on the Vans Warped Tour.

Hellogoodbye was signed to Drive-Thru Records and released their first full-length album "Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!" in addition to their previously released EPs "Hellogoodbye" and "DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL." In 2010, the band released "Would It Kill You?" on their label Wasted Summer Records.

"The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation supports pediatric research, education, community benefit programs, and other initiatives that improve the health of children in Michigan," according to their website.
