Thanks to the Michigan Theater, "Trust"—the locally shot, David Schwimmer-directed movie about a case of a teen girl attacked by an online sexual predator—finally had a local premiere over the weekend.

Despite generally positive reviews, the movie—starring Liana Liberato, Clive Owen and Catherine Keener—has only received limited release so far.

So—what did you think of the movie, and how does it rank among other major locally shot features? Take our polls and/or leave a comment below:

Although this story was set primarily in Chicago, the family residence and neighborhood scenes had a certain 'Old West Side' air about them. The college scenes actually set in Ann Arbor captured the beauty and bustle of campus. On one level, yes, it was fun spotting the local film settings, but that was only a small part of the movie- it is in itself an excellent film in many ways- strong character-driven script, acting and dialogue contributing to a tightly knit family drama on a very topical issue. I hope that when this film goes into nation-wide release, it attracts the large audience it deserves.

What did I think? I think I paid too much of my tax dollars funding the production. So how much did this one cost us? I can't say that I have noticed the "big boost" to the economy.

Local communities do benefit monetarily from the production. It's hard to measure it on the state level. But I would much prefer my money goes to film credits than corporate welfare.

Oh boo hoo. Ask all the people that worked on the production if they noticed.
