Wild Swan Theater to raise money with Chocolate Crush event
Ann Arbor’s premiere chocolatiers and chefs, including Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Mindo Chocolate, Zingerman’s Candy Manufactory, the Ravens Club, and Bab’s Underground present delectable creations for Wild Swan’s supporters. Savory appetizers from The Grange Kitchen & Bar and What’s Cooking!, and beer from Wolverine Brewing Company, and wine and from local purveyors will also be available. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Royal Garden Trio.
Funds raised support Wild Swan’s groundbreaking audience accessibility, scholarship, and outreach programs that ensure that children of all abilities can experience Wild Swan Theater. Wild Swan offers one of the most comprehensive audience accessibility programs in the nation. American Sign Language interpretation, audio description, and back-stage “touch tours” allow them to provide a full theater experience for patrons who are blind, deaf, mentally, or physically disabled.
Silent and live auction items feature art, entertainment, and romance-inspired treasures offered just in time for Valentine’s Day. Auction items include tickets to sports events, concerts, and theater; passes, extreme outdoor adventures; passes to a variety of family friendly attractions including Disney World and Crystal Mountain; one year memberships to the Ann Arbor Art Center, University of Michigan Museum of Art, and The Henry Ford; and a wide assortment of exceptional goods and services from area merchants.
Chocolate Chip tickets are $60/person through Jan. 15 and $75/person after Jan. 15 ($35 tax deductible). Chocolate Bar tickets are $125/person ($100 tax deductible). Tickets are available for purchase online at www.wildswantheater.org or by calling Wild Swan at 734-995-0530. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and admission is limited. Tickets may also be available for purchase at the door.
