The special airs 8-10 p.m. Wednesday on NBC. According to the network, it will feature updates from more than 40 of the show's most popular contestants, including Thomas. The Ypsilanti resident was kicked off the ranch in week 7 of his season but continued his transformation back home, culminating in losing 46 percent of his body weight and winning the "At-Home Biggest Loser" prize. The reality series is currently in its eighth season.

The network said the special shows Thomas hosting a mini "Biggest Loser" reunion at his home.

Since his success on the show, Thomas has maintained a public profile and regularly does speaking engagements about his accomplishment. He has done guest appearances on "The View" and "Access Hollywood," and has been interviewed by The New York Times, O magazine and others.
