This year’s theme will be Country Gardens and will feature five gardens located outside of town. The five gardens featured on this year’s garden walk are all very large gardens – about an acre or more.
One garden could be an arboretum with its many trees and large water garden. Another’s enchanted setting features whimsical rustic structures and multitudes of bird houses, trellises and arbors. Others provide peaceful settings with a gurgling fountain, vegetable garden with compost bins and wildflowers. From a park-like setting to a gardener’s garden, there is something for everyone.
The Garden Market Place returns to the lawn at the Library. Add some whimsy and beauty to your garden from the wide variety of garden merchandise. Featured items include:
• bird baths and bird feeders
• floral art and note cards
• hypertufa troughs
• garden inspired pottery
