“artificial real” through the construction of false narratives\, perso
nal identities\, cultural artifice\, and virtual worlds. Artists in this s
how render reality using artificial means\, construct false realities and
spaces\, depict cultural artifice\, represent constructed identities and a
lter egos\, and portray the false narratives of our everyday fictions.
