Coy Davis from the Idlewild 100 Committee presents a film and discussion about Idlewild, the historic African American resort town in Lake County, Michigan. Idlewild was the “African American Entertainment Capital” in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, hosting great entertainers such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Sammy Davis Jr., and Bill Cosby.
