  • No Child... contains adult language, recommended for mature audiences.
No Child.... Eastern Michigan University Theatre will present an unconventional repertory of two contemporary plays beginning the first weekend of February. To kick off the exciting three week long theatrical journey, Dead Man's Cell Phone, a dark romantic comedy by Sarah Ruhl opens February 3rd and runs through the 16th.

No Child... an inspirational story about the public education system by Nilaja Sun premieres February 9th and runs through the 19th.

No Child... directed by Wallace Bridges (Ain¹t Misbehvain¹, All Night Strut, Intimate Apparel) is a witty and poignant exploration of the current state of the public education system. One teacher, Miss Sun, uses the arts to attempt to transform the lives of students at a New York City public school. Witness the inspirational journey as she overcomes her own fears and doubts in order to make a difference.
