The Great Lakes contain about 20% of the world’s available fresh water.  A new study by Michigan Sea Grant shows that 1.5 million jobs ($62 billion in wages) are directly dependent on the Great Lakes. What does the future hold for these vital resources?   Join Jim Diana, Professor at the UM School of Natural Resources and the Environment and Director of Michigan Sea Grant, and Christine Manninen, Communications Director at the Great Lakes Commission, to discuss current scientific and legislative issues concerning the state of the lakes.
