Old Soul Quartet with the Ann Arbor Composers' Collective: Led by former Nomo trumpeter Ingrid Racine, Old Soul, who have been hard at work establishing themselves in the Ann Arbor scene, puts a forward
thinking twist on the classic jazz quartet format. They seamlessly incorporate contemporary r&b, broken beat, and hip hop grooves that will call you to dance, while commanding your attention with mind-blowing
improvisations. Arbor Composer's Collective is a nonet composed of University of Michigan School
of Music Jazz performance graduate students. Their influences vary considerably, and their music leans heavily towards the experimental. All new music.
