This winter, for six Saturdays, Ann Arbor Civic Theatre will once again offer its highly successful hands-on workshop on acting and analysis. What Am I Doing Up Here? is designed to give students practical techniques to take away and use, and is appropriate for actors, ages 16 and up, of all levels of experience.

The workshop is taught by Glenn Bugala, director of A2CT's critically acclaimed productions of Our Town, Tommy, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Front Page, and A Little Night Music. The course teaches the Practical Aesthetics Approach designed by David Mamet and the Atlantic Theatre Company. It is highlighted by a common-sense, objectives-based analysis coupled with realistic living in the moment. This acting class is designed to give the students practical techniques to take away and use immediately.
