An old country church amid expanding cities

This week's Itinerant Chorister visit was at Dixboro United Methodist Church at 5221 Church Road in Dixboro. It was founded and built in 1858, and combines a sense of history with a forward-looking attitude, given its location in an area where Ann Arbor is expanding eastward and the Detroit suburbs are expanding westward. On a Sunday in April, not November, they emphasized thankfulness, while at the same time bringing in new members.
