Kim Kardashian tithes 10 percent to church and charity, but does Kourtney?

CNN Belief offered a preview of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian's interview on Thursday night's "Piers Morgan Tonight" show.
When Piers Morgan asks how much Kim is worth, she says, "Whatever it is, I give 10 percent away to the church, and that's what I was taught. Every year, absolutely."
But does Kourtney?
"I'm going to now," Kourtney said. "I was taught that, too, but I forgot about it."
How seriously to you take tithing 10 percent to church or charity?

Sounds like Kim K and I have something in common -- I too was taught to give 10% to the church or charity and I try to do that each year. I'm not always successful at it, but 10% is my goal.

Serious enough that I've done it ever since I was 10 and my allowance was $1. There is a context to tithing/giving, however. The intent in the Bible for tithing was to recognize God's blessing and also to provide for the needs of the less fortunate in the church. The implication is then that you are tithing with the church you belong to. I wonder if Ms. K is a member at the church she refers to, which is LifeChange Community Church (<a href="http://www.lifechangecommunity.org/)" rel='nofollow'>http://www.lifechangecommunity.org/)</a>
