Strictly speaking, this comment is off-topic, but it may be of interest to the readers of the Itinerant Chorister. This Saturday night, March 13th, 8:00 p.m., the Harvard Glee Club, together with the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club and the Virginia Glee Club will be giving a joint concert at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. The next morning, Laetare Sunday, March 14, 2010, members of the Harvard Glee Club will assist the sacred music at the 9:00 a.m. Mass (and possibly the 7:30 a.m. Mass) at St. Thomas the Apostle.

One quotation from the Christian tradition that is related to the comments that Rebbapragada makes is attributed to St. Augustine of Hippo: "Whoever sings, prays twice." However, a little quick Internet research shows that there is controversy surrounding the actual wording of what Augustine said.
