Here's a look at some of the top health news being talked about around the U.S. and the world today:

• Crews in the U.S. continue to scramble to get health supplies to Haiti as aid continues to pour into - and reportedly bottleneck - Haiti following last week's earthquake. One example of help on its way is a ship, being called a floating hospital, packed with supplies in the port of Baltimore, according to an NPR blog.

• In a reversal from a previous declaration that the chemical bisphenol-A, or BPA, used in plastic bottles and food packaging is safe, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it is taking another look at the chemical, the New York Times reported.

• World Health Organization officials say they believe the spread of the swine flu, or H1N1 flu, pandemic in the northern hemisphere appears to have slowed. But they also warn there could still be another resurgence through the end of winter. Meanwhile, it's been reported there are huge surpluses in the H1N1 flu vaccine after officials say demand for the vaccine dropped dramatically.
