Have you spotted a random color in a Facebook user status update today and don't know what's going on?

A message claiming to be a cancer awareness campaign is spreading through Ann Arbor area Facebook inbox messages, encouraging women to post the color of the bra they're wearing in hopes of getting people talking.

"Something fun is going on," the message reads. "Write the color of your bra in your status. Just the color, nothing else. And send this on to ONLY women no men. It will be neat to see if this will spread the wings of cancer awareness. It will be fun to see how long it takes before the men wonder why the women have a color in their status.....LOL!"

The message has been spreading worldwide throughout Facebook with multiple blogs asking why users are posting colors as their status updates.

There's no word yet on the origin or the ultimate goal of the campaign.

Creepy? Think about us middle aged men and our high school and college female fb friends from church, the neighborhood and cousins not to mention former girlfriends and buddies wives. This meme has people sharing way too much while the very same people will refuse to fill out their census forms.
