Dental services for uninsured children available in Ann Arbor clinic this Saturday
Dental services will be available to uninsured Washtenaw County Children in Ann Arbor at a walk-in clinic this weekend.
The Washtenaw Children's Dental Clinic will be hosted between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday at Ann Arbor Open School, 707 Brooks Street.
Services like dental cleaning and screening services, as well as help for the child's most pressing dental need on a walk-in basis. Services cost $5 per child and can be paid by cash, check or money order.
Those eligible must be a residents of Washtenaw County, should be between preschool age and 18 years of age, must be eligible for the Federal Hot Lunch Program and not be covered by dental insurance and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. It is planned to have Spanish-speaking students on hand to help translate.
The location is accessible by bus on routes 12A and 12B with a stop on Brooks Street.
