Researchers closer to figuring out how calorie-burning "brown fat" is built in the body

Here's a look at some of the top health news being talked about around the U.S. and the world today:
• Scientists are closer to figuring out how brown fat - a form of human fat that burns calories - is formed in the body. That information could help develop ways to fight the obesity epidemic, Reuters is reporting.
• Leaders in the global war against AIDS say they fear that war is falling apart, starting in Uganda where clinics are beginning to turn people away as grants to keep drugs available to people there are beginning to dry up.
• The fact that many breast cancers that are detected early and treated may never have become a significant problem is hardly comfort for women worried about their risk for breast cancer. Researchers believe they may have found a way to detect which cases of breast cancer are at higher risk of invasive spreading, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.
