Tiny, invisible crustaceans called copepods are in every glass of tap water New Yorkers drink. They’re harmless, Time Magazine pointed out, but may not be kosher. Those disgusted by the discovery can get rid of them with a filter. The copepods captured the public’s attention after a reddit user put his tap water under the microscope and uploaded the pics.

Booze, sex, chocolate OK (in moderation)

CNN gave us reason this week to feel a lot less guilty about guilty pleasures with its list of 10 vices that are good for you. Those would be: 1. Sleep; 2. Playing hooky; 3. Sex; 4. Chocolate every day; 5. Nights out with friends; 6. Full-fat foods; 7. Coffee; 8. Sun. 9. Massage; 10. Alcohol - especially wine.

It’s allergy season. The website How stuff works teamed up with Discovery Health to offer up tips on how changing one’s lifestyle can alter allergies, including exercise, a eating well-balanced diet and avoiding the cigs.
