Judy Norsigian, executive director of Our Bodies, Ourselves, will speak about menopause at the Ann Arbor District Library in February.

The University of Michigan Women’s Health Resource Center and the Ann Arbor District Library are hosting “Approaching Mid-Life with a Positive Attitude,” a seminar on aging gracefully.

The event, which marks the center’s 15th anniversary, will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the library’s Pittsfield branch, 2539 Oak Valley Dr.

Judy Norsigian, executive director of Our Bodies, Ourselves, and Dr. Helen Kales, assistant professor of the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry, are the featured speakers.

Norsigian will discuss Menopause: Revisiting the Hormone Debate, followed by Kales, who will cover Promoting Emotional and Cognitive Well-being Later Life: The Program for Positive Aging.

Norsigian will also sign copies of her book “Our Bodies, Ourselves,” which will be on sale at the event.
