Here's a look at some of the top health news being talked about around the U.S. and the world today:

• Was Hitler Jewish? Media outlets are picking up a report from a Belgian news magazine called Knack that says the Nazi dictator responsible for the killing of millions of Jews had African and Jewish ancestry. The conclusion was drawn after DNA testing of relatives. Read the Google translation here.

• The Obama administration plans to appeal a court ruling that challenged the legality of federally funded stem cell research, the New York Times reported. If the ruling holds, dozens of experiments on diseases ranging from diabetes to Parkinson’s would be cancelled.

• In Pakistan, millions face serious threat of epidemic disease following floods that have affected 17 million people and destroyed 1.2 million homes, the BBC reported. Children are especially at risk for water-borne illnesses like cholera, dysentery and diarrhea.

Juliana, you're doing much better than the vast bulk of mainstream media reporting on this, simply because of the (wise) question mark in your title. This is a hoax. 9% of Austrians and a whopping 24% of Northern Italians carry the E1B1B1 gene. E1B1B1 isn't a specifically "Jewish" gene at all. It's relatively common in Europe. Further, historian Ian Kershaw definitively debunked the Schicklgruber claim in Kershaw's 1998 2-volume Hitler biography. See: http://www.talk2action.org/story/2010/8/24/19257/3498

If DNA sampling was around during the Hitler era, it would have been discovered that he was a Jew. Despite his power he would have been removed and sent to Auschwitz to be gassed. If he survived Hitler might have emigrated to Israel and became its president.
