Deck the House entry #3: Andrea Duval's promise to herself

Welcome to our Deck the House virtual showcase, featuring readers' photos of indoor and outdoor holiday displays. Today we're featuring Deck the House Entry #3 by Andrea Duval.
Duval writes:
"I did it for myself. It was one of the promises I made myself when I got accepted to build and purchase a home through Habitat for Humanity: I was going to be able to decorate my yard to the point of gaudy once I owned my own home, so I do it every year."
Duval said she has owned her house at 3432 Ferry St. for six years now, and almost all of the Habitat houses on the street are decorated for Christmas.
Like Duval's holiday decorations? It's not too late to enter your own.
Through Dec. 17, send photos of your indoor our outdoor holiday decorations to pamstout@annarbor.com, along with a short description of what makes them special.
After we've featured all of the homes, we'll post a poll and let you vote on your favorite(s). The homes with the most votes at the close of the poll will be featured in an upcoming story in the print edition of AnnArbor.com.
